Configuring service accounts
For on-premises instances, Apporto will need access to some of your environment’s service accounts for proper authorization.

View the service accounts list
The “Hybrid Resource Management” tab on the Setup page shows a list of all the service accounts for your Apporto instance. To access this page, follow the steps below.
- Log in to the system using your credentials.
- Click Setup or the
icon in the navigation panel. - Click on the Hybrid Resource Mgmt tab button.
- The list of on-prem service accounts will display. You may filter the list or adjust the displayed columns to locate records. See the article on working with lists for more information.
Create a service account profile
To begin creating an on-prem service account profile, follow the steps below.
- From the “Hybrid Resource Mgmt” tab, click add account. The system will direct you to the Add service account page.

- Enter the account values. The table below shows the values that make up a service account profile.

- Click Save to create the account profile.
Edit a service account
To update a service account, follow the steps below:
- From the list, click on a row’s edit button to trigger the Update service account page. Update any necessary values.
- Click update to confirm. The updated settings will be used in future system transactions for any resource hubs using that service account.
- You may also click cancel to exit the service account profile without saving changes.
Delete a service account
To delete a service account, follow the steps below:
- From the list, click on a row’s delete button to trigger the Delete service account pop-up. The number of resource hubs currently using the selected service account will display.
- Click confirm to confirm deletion. The pop-up will close and the deleted service account will no longer appear in the list. If one or more resource hubs were previously using that service account, you will need to go to those hubs and select other service accounts to use.
- If you do not want to proceed with deleting the account, click Cancel. The system will close the pop-up without making any changes.
