Drupal 2025.2.1 Release Notes


This release focuses on targeted platform improvements, administrative controls, and usability enhancements. Scope has been intentionally limited to feature hardening and operational reliability to ensure predictable deployment and minimal disruption. In general, here are the benefits for each type of user:

  • Admins: Greater control over device access, networking restrictions, and server operations.
  • Students/faculty: Improved reliability and visibility during sessions, including persistent VM loading and homework submission support.


There are also software maintenance updates and bug fixes to support improved stability and day-to-day operation. Here’s what’s included in the release.
