Impersonating a User
Impersonating a user enables you to login as the user. This can be useful when you need to access the user's app or desktop to troubleshoot an issue or assist the user. Your role must grant you permissions to the group the user belongs to in order to impersonate them.
Impersonation is ideally done when the user is offline. If the user has an active session, they will be disconnected when you launch the same app or desktop. Screen sharing is a better tool for assisting users who are online.
If desired, impersonation can be disabled for your instance. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to request this change.
