Saving and Restoring Snapshots
 

The Save/Restore snapshots  function lets you save up to two snapshots for an active session so you can "roll back" your work to a previous state in the event you need to undo your work.


To save a snapshot:
 

  1. Click the Save/Restore snapshots  button in the top panel.

    • The Snapshots dialog displays.
       

               

    • The dialog lists up to two snapshots for the current session. Each snapshot is identified by a timestamps showing the date and time at which the snapshot was saved.
       

  2. Click the Save button to save a snapshot of the state of the current session.
     

    • A confirmation message displays.
       

                

  3. Make sure all open applications in the cloud desktop are closed.
     

  4. Click the Save snapshot button to save the snapshot.
     

    • Your current session is disconnected once the save process is completed.

    • If you have already saved the maximum number of snapshots allowed, the new snapshot overwrites the oldest snapshot.

    • Reconnect to your session once the snapshot has been saved.


To restore a snapshot:
 

  1. Click the Save/Restore snapshots  button in the top panel.  

    • The Snapshots dialog displays.

               

    • The dialog lists up to two snapshots for the current session. Each snapshot is identified by a timestamps showing the date and time at which the snapshot was saved.
       

  2. Select the snapshot you wish to restore, then click the Restore button.
     

    • A confirmation message displays.
       

                

  3. Make sure all open applications in your virtual desktop are closed.
     

  4. Click the Restore snapshot button to restore the snapshot.
     

    • Your current session is disconnected once the recovery is in process.

    • Reconnect to your session once the recovery is completed.
