“About Apporto” updates
- Added Apporto versioning info for on-premises customers
Messenger/chat updates
- Restored the count of unread messages
- Updated the layout such that the chat window’s screen position will stay the same after resizing the browser
Virtual classroom updates
- Faculty users can now end their virtual classroom sessions without having to close out the desktop. For more information, refer to the Help Center article on using the virtual classroom. To end a session, follow the steps below:
- From within a virtual classroom session, click on the End Session button.
- The system will ask you to confirm your decision.
- Click Close Classroom to confirm, or you may exit the confirmation screen to return to the virtual classroom.
- If you confirm, the virtual classroom session will end and you can close the browser tab to return to the desktop.
Screen resolution updates
- Users now have expanded selection options for the screen resolution within a desktop. This is especially useful on high-definition (4K) monitors or when wanting a faster response time. For more information, refer to the Help Center article on app settings. To set your screen resolution, follow the steps below:
- From within a desktop, click on the settings icon
 to trigger the menu.
- Select the “Screen resolution” menu item to view the list of resolution options.
- Low resolution (1024 x 768) for faster response
- Medium resolution (2560 x 1440) for balanced response and quality
- Dynamic resolution (matches monitor resolution) for better quality
- Select the option you prefer. The desktop view will adjust to the setting you selected.
